Alldredge reunion

Another quick trip up north, this time for the Alldredge family reunion that was held in Fillmore. We decided we could head up for just one day of fun, and have a little time to visit with my cousins. Chelsea wanted to go and hang out with her cousins Kayla and Rachel so we had to intercept their trip home from girls camp. Unfortunately they ended up not being able to come up so Chelsea spent a lot of time sitting in the car watching a movie or listening to music. Brianna decided to head on back to vegas. We also took my neice, Kennedy, up with us for the day. It was a long day driving up 2 1/2 hrs and then back home again but it was a good day. We got there in time for lunch and then to the city pool that was rented just for our family. After swim time, the kids had fun just playing in my uncles backyard while the adults got to visit and chill-ax.





One of the favorite features of the reunion is the auction. Family members make and donate several special items that are then auctioned off to help fund the next years reunion. Sometimes my dad is the "auctioneer". This year Kennedy got to be his assistant. My dad is really good at driving up the prices which can be kind of obnoxious when it's something I really want. He makes it fun though.

Here I get a little time to relax talking with my mom and sister in the shade. It was hot even in Fillmore until the sun started going down. After the auction we had to drive back to St. George so we could head to Vegas in the morning.
