Tricks or Treats

Chelsea shared some fun pics of the costume dance at the institute.  She was a flapper this year.  Brianna was very creative with her costume this year (Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter) and Cord was a Knight in Shining Armor.  Mason opted to pretend the holiday didn't even exist and preferred to hide upstairs on the computer.  We started our trick or treat adventures at the District.

Then we got home and got our porch ready for "customers" as Cord calls it.

Cord loves handing out the candy almost as much as he loves getting it.

Brianna used her little brother as a ploy to get a bunch of candy herself.  She begged him to keep going even though he was tired.  She couldn't go by herself because that would "look weird".  He was a good sport to go with her.

Checking out all the spoils after a long night.

Brianna was very proud of her unique pumpkin this year.

Corn Maze

After carving pumpkins we head over to get lost in the Corn Maze.  Now it finally feels like fall.

We managed to find all the flags and got out without loosing anyone in our group.

Cord enjoyed the fun rides at the farm.

We somehow managed to follow this witch up a closed path to a little house where she showed us how to make some witches brew.  Her house was super creapy.

Pumpkin carving

Headed up to St. George this weekend for some fall/ Halloween fun with the cousins.  Started off with some pumpkin carving.

We always have to do one good pic and one silly.

Chelsea Turns 19

We loved having Chelsea come back home to celebrate her birthday.  Although we didn't see her much, it's always good to have her back.

Her grandma treated her to a make-over last week.  Isn't she pretty?

She celebrated her actual birthday back home with grandma and great grandma.  She's growing up and having a great time at college.

House Decor

Brianna wanted to go "all out" this year and helped me set up the decorations to set the mood for Halloween.

Notice the "dead body" lying on the couch.  I have to put up with this all month?
