What an awesome day. I was blessed to go with Chelsea, Brianna, and Mason and the rest of the youth to the temple to do baptisms for the dead. I had 17 female names and 38 male names that needed work done. I had been sharing with the children the different names so they would be familiar with the family relations so it would have some more meaning. Brianna did the work for her great grandma, Ruth Kelsay while Chelsea did work for her great, great grandma Grace Mae Smith. Mason had the whole McKelleb/ Harmon lines on his shoulders. The kids were excited to do as many names as possible. We had a large group of youth so my kids were only able to do 6-7 names and then we spread the rest out. But the way things worked out, Mason was confirmed for all 38 male names. Because he went first with the baptisms, and because of a confusion with some of the workers, they decided just to keep him dry. He would be confirmed for the names as soon as the other boys were baptised for them. I was surprised at how excited he was to be able to do all of that work. He said he was glad to do work for family and would be excited to meet them in heaven. The spirit was so strong and I loved being in the temple with my kids. It was a great day!!
