January 4, 2012 - Never thought I'd be having fun at the park in January, without even a jacket!
January 16, 2012 - Still a work in progress but I'm happy to feel its heat again.
January 25, 2012 - My heart is full of gratitude today. I am so blessed!
January 27, 2012 - Loved spending the day with my boys. Shark Reef, park, slushee, Spy Kids 4. (It's not as lame as I expected).
January 31, 2012 - Hey Cord, what should we do tomorrow? (C) Let's wear our costumes! (Me) But I don't have one. (C) you need to get a Bumble Bee costume.
February 5, 2012 - I think its a crime that we don't get paid time and a half today. I mean its a national holiday!

February 10, 2012 - So far so good. So grateful for the support of my awesome hubby, family, and friends.

February 22, 2012 - Today I got clearance to drive, but I still can't push a refrigerator. Patience!
February 28, 2012 - We found a fun new park today! I'm loving my time off and being with my kids!

March 6, 2012 - Does anyone know a website to go to check out why movies receive a certain rating? PG 13 can mean so many different things.
March 8, 2012 - For once I can look at a full moon and enjoy its beauty instead of being afraid of what lies ahead of me at work :). Thinking of my friends at work tonight.
March 10, 2012 - Cord is an "action figure". He's saving the world, one bad guy at a time.
March 12, 2012 - Interesting day. My doctor said he wanted me to have another 4 weeks off before going back to work instead of the 2 that was originally planned. I have mixed feelings about this. I'm thrilled to have more time with my kids and don't feel I'm ready to be up on my feet for 12 hours, but that means that we are going to have to start pinching some pennies. Don't have quite enough paid time for that.
March 14, 2012 - Does anyone know of a good pool service? I want to see if I can have someone get my pool cleaned and ready use.
March 16, 2012 - Today is going to be a great day!
March 17, 2012 - With the kids at the St Paddys day parade.
March 21, 2012 - Last day of swim class for Cord and someone in the class before left a "present" in the pool. So now they have to have the lesson in the big, colder pool.

- Its a sad, sad day. After 8 weeks of being home with my kids I'm headed back to work tonight. Heaven help me remember how to be a nurse.

April 21, 2012 - I've never been so happy to see a bus pull up to the school!!! Been waiting here for an hour to pick up Mason from a field trip to Knotts.
April 28, 2012 - At the salon getting Chelsea's hair done for PROM :D
May 3, 2012 - Guess who's the next one in the family to need glasses.......Mason :) We found out that the left eye is very near sighted while the other one is almost perfect.

- So proud of my Chelsea girl! She performed an awesome guitar solo at the concert. She also arranged my parents to come down which was a fun surprise for me.

June 26, 2012 - I'm the luckiest girl. Had a great birthday with my family. And my thoughtful hubby restored the satellite radio in my car!! I think of him whenever I'm driving.

July 2, 2012 - Talk about baptism by fire! My first day shift and I get floated to another unit where I have to figure things out with double the workload. Its only 12 hrs right?! Deep breaths!
July 4, 2012 - Perfect day for a parade! The sun is hidden behind the clouds :)
July 6, 2012 - 3rd morning in a row that I'm up by 6 AM. So weird. But also kind of nice.

July 19, 2012 - Had a fun afternoon with Cord at the kids museum.
July 26, 2012 - While walking into a gas station bathroom Cord asks (loudly) "Why does it smell like old people?". I don't know Cord. "It smells like old people and it stinks!". So glad nobody else was there.
July 27, 2012 - Had the BEST day with the family at Knotts Berry Farm!! Everyone is tired and happy.

Aug 24, 2012 - So grateful for dental insurance!! 2 weeks ago it was the wisdom teeth. Today 2 kids getting braces.
Aug 27, 2012 - Bittersweet day. Kids finally off to school. Kindergarten, 8th, 10th, and my Senior. Now what to do with myself???? I'm sure I'll think of something :)

Dec 19, 2012 - We waited in line for over 2 hours for this visit with Santa. Crazy. But Cord did really well and we bonded with everyone in line with us, including this pitbull who also waited to ask Santa for a new bone.
