In Astoria we were able to visit Fort Clatsop which is a replica of the fort that Lewis and Clark built when they got to Oregon. It was their winter quarters in 1805. While we were there we got to see a gun demonstration and listen to an expert tell us about Lewis and Clark. Cord loved to pick the flowers and climb on the trees. I liked just being in the woods. Because Cord wouldn't sit still long enough for me to listen to anything I just followed him around and let him explore. It was still a relaxing afternoon.
