Working Girl

My sister told me I couldn't actually use the words "working girl" in Vegas when I talk about Chelsea, but that's all she's doing this summer.  She scored (with her daddy's help) a temporary position as a receptionist at the law office that Mike works at.  She answers phones, directs people, does any odd jobs that people give her, and tries very hard not to be board.  She can't read, text, or be on facebook while she's there.  She's working 8:30 to 5:00 every day.  She finally got her first paycheck which makes spending all those hours there totally worth it.  She's saving her bucks to buy herself a better car that she can take to college.  It's a big sacrifice to give up your summer, but at the end of it, hopefully she'll have something that she has learned to work hard for.  And then she'll have some work experience to add to her resume.
