What a neat opportunity for a field trip. Brianna's class had the chance to ride a raft down the colorado river, starting at the Hoover Dam. I can't really call it a "river rafting trip" because when you say that people think of white water rafting. This was more like a gentle float down the river. But she had a lot of fun. They rode chartered buses out there, rode for about an hour, stopped at a beach to eat and play, floated a little longer, then rode the bus home. She was exausted when she got home but had a big smile on her face.
