Gingerbread houses

Alldredge cousin family tradition - building gingerbread houses, and having candy for lunch (just kidding). Cord is still at the graham cracker house stage. It's fun to watch as the kids get older to see how much work goes into the houses and how creative they get.

Funny addendum: I was concerned about how the houses would travel for 2 hours in the car, so we carefully placed them at our feet. Brianna's house was up front by her. We got home with 10 minutes to hurry and change for our church so we didn't bother unloading the car. After sitting in the car for the remaining 2 hours of church we brought the houses in. The beautiful white/red candy kisses that were all around Brianna's house had melted into a white and red glob mess, and now the carpet in the car has the faint sent of peppermint when the heater is turned on :)
