Cord was chosen as the VIP at school this week. He was so excited. His dad was asking about what that meant and Cord told him that we were supposed to come to school and "pay him compliments". So I've been preparing. Part of the week also meant that Kitty came home with Cord and we were supposed to document what we did with him. We took lots of fun pictures. We also made a star poster about how special he is. I let Cord do a lot of the poster which was really hard for me. I have a tendency to care more about having it look nice than letting the child have the creative experience.
Chelsea took Cord and Kitty to the park on saturday.
After working hard on his star poster, we took kitty to dinner at McDonalds
One night we set up the tent and introduced Kitty to the other stuffed animals. We read stories and then Cord had a sleepover with all his friends.
We had made heart cookies for Valentines day so Cord and kitty decorated them.
Mason and Cord played a little video games with kitty.
Cruising around the neighborhood with kitty while trying to walk Chester.
Brianna joined the kitty action by joining Cord on the trampoline.
Here's Cord hard at work on his star poster. And here's mom showing a lot of restraint to let him do what he wants. I did get my way on some of it though so it was a colaborative effort.
