Starting in December, Cord began telling me that he "couldn't see". I didn't really believe him but when we went for a doctor visit in January we tested his eyes. He was right! He couldn't see. So we headed off to the eye doctor. Turns out it was time for glasses and he a an astigmatism in both eyes already. Before we went in to see the doctor, he already gave his glasses picked out. Then he was disappointed that we didn't leave that day with them. He argued that they already had "glass" in them. Sometimes you just can't win with that kid. Needless to say, we came back a couple weeks later to pick up his real glasses. He looks so awesome and smart. It's such a great feeling to walk out of the eye doctor, look around, and be able to see what you've been missing out on.
Cord was so excited to be joining the "glasses club". Although it may be cool now, it's a lifetime membership. He joins with Caleb who recently got his glasses. Lets hope he can work hard to take care of them now.
