Cousin Nativity

We stayed up in Utah another day so that we could get together for our annual (crazy) Nativity re-enactment.  It's quick and there is usually a little bit of attitude involved, but in the end it makes for a great picture and hopefully some great memories later.

Cord wanted to be a sheep this year.

Mason makes a very handsome wise man.

An AWESOME group photo!!!

Bryan was there with Chelsea but the rule is that you can't be on the calendar unless you are married.  But after the activity, we dressed him up and took a couple pics.  CUTE!

Gingerbread houses

As the kids get older, this tradition takes longer because the kids get really creative.

Then the boys can't wait to pick apart and destroy their creations.

Night out at the Nutcracker

Brianna and I took some time out to enjoy the Nutcracker at the Smith center.  It was a beautiful ballet with some fun scenery.  I love being with her and watching her enjoy some good dancing.

Finishing the tree

We had gotten most of the decorations up this week but haven't had time to get the ornaments on the tree until today.  A fun family home evening I must say.

The finished product!  Our trees always have a lot of character with the unusual collection of ornaments we have for each child.

Decorating

We are so excited that we got a house elf come visit us this year.  It's fun to see the trouble he gets into during the night.  Cord loves looking for him every morning.

It's also fun to have the Christmas decorations up.

The boys enjoy having their own little tree in the room for the month.  When we decorate the big tree, they keep aside the ornaments they want to put on their own tree.
