Before we headed out on vacation, Brianna looked up a lot of the bakery's and sweet shops that have been visited on the show called Unique Sweets. To start off day 2 we hit one of them. The best unique donuts ever!! She ended up being disappointed later on because we couldn't visit more of them.
We then headed out on a 90 minute cruise around the San Francisco bay area and around Alcatraz. It was a great way to see the city.
Mason with Fort Mason in the background.
Apparently, this is the real Golden Gate Bridge. We also loved watching the huge sail boats that were racing for America's Cup.
Coit Tower in the background. I was excited to go there.
We wandered around Pier 39 to check things out.
At the end of the pier, was Ghirardelli square. We had to stop and get some chocolate bars.
Aquarium on the Bay was our next visit. Mason didn't really want to go so he wandered around with dad. They checked out all the street preformers and Mason loved watching some guys who were doing some paintings with spray paint.
I was excited to visit Coit tower, but by the time we got there we were tired of waiting in lines and paying money. Oh well, maybe next time. We headed back to the hotel.
I took Cord back down to the pool/ hot tub. When we got there, there was just one guy relaxing in the spa. Cord went right up to him and asked him, "why are your arm pits so furry? Like a bear?" I was so shocked I didn't know what to say. Luckily the guy just laughed too. The previous day he was talking to an older couple in the spa about "when I'm going to be a man". They asked him how he would know when he was a man. He replied, "When my sister has lots of babies". No pressure.
